1 red 1 green Peppers
2 Onions
2 Plantain bananas
1 box Peeled tomatoes can be replaced with tomato puree
2 cloves Ginger
2 leafs Laurel
1 teaspoon Parsley in powder
According to your taste Chili Pepper en poudre
1 cube Vegetables broth
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil

Preparing the DG Chicken

Cut your chicken whole or cut your chicken thighs in half. Heat some vegetable oil in a pot and fry your chicken pieces over high heat. While your chicken is fried, chop the 3 onions, the garlic cloves, cut the carrots and cut the peppers (red and green) into thin strips.
Once the chicken is nicely browned, remove it from the heat and reserve it for later.

In the same pot, sauté your chopped onions and garlic cloves for about 3-4 minutes, until they become translucent, then add the peeled tomatoes. Let everything simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes.

Preparation of vegetables

Add the green beans, carrots and peppers to the mixture. You can replace the green beans with flat beans if you wish.

Add the spices

Add the chilli powder, bay leaves, paprika, ginger powder, parsley and vegetable stock cube (or chicken stock). Don't forget to season with salt and pepper too!

Simmer Your Chicken General Director

Add the reserved fried chicken. Add a glass of water and simmer your Cameroonian DG chicken for about 30 minutes.

Preparation of plantains

While your chicken is simmering, cut your plantains into strips and fry them in hot oil in a pan or deep fryer.
Once your plantains are fried, add them to your DG chicken 10 minutes before the end of cooking.
