Steps
1 Done | Boil 2 liters of water and if using Hibiscus chalices, rinse them in cold water. |
2 Done | Infuse your 150 to 200g of hibiscus (or dried hibiscus flowers) in 2 liters of boiling water. Add the mint leaves, the sugar and if you wish a little orange blossom. Cover and leave to cool the Bissap juice at room temperature until the water is well colored (about 2 hours) . |
3 Done | Taste and cut with water if according to your taste. You can also add lemon juice if you like that. |
4 Done | Your homemade Bissap is ready!Chill your Bissap for at least 2 hours before serving. Serve your Hibiscus juice chilled by adding an ice cube and a few mint leaves. |
