150 à 200g Bissap or dried hiscus flowers
2L Water
100g Sugar
1 bunch Fresh mint
2 tablespoons Orange Blossom Optional
1 Lime Optional

Boil 2 liters of water and if using Hibiscus chalices, rinse them in cold water.

Infuse your 150 to 200g of hibiscus (or dried hibiscus flowers) in 2 liters of boiling water. Add the mint leaves, the sugar and if you wish a little orange blossom. Cover and leave to cool the Bissap juice at room temperature until the water is well colored (about 2 hours) .

Taste and cut with water if according to your taste. You can also add lemon juice if you like that.

Your homemade Bissap is ready!

Chill your Bissap for at least 2 hours before serving. Serve your Hibiscus juice chilled by adding an ice cube and a few mint leaves.
